Let us start by answering an important question: why do we collect personal data? The answer is simple, we need this information to help you as best we can. For example, to help you find a new career step, or to find candidates for your vacancy, or to keep you up to date with our latest developments, we need a few details to do this as well as possible. We keep this information for 1 year and store it in our well secured systems. Do you want to see what information about you is in our system? Then send an email to email@example.com and we’ll give you insight within four weeks. Of course, you are free to change this information or ask us to delete it.
Since we store your data, it seems logical to us that we first tell more about ourselves. Dutchwebshark is a data-driven talent management agency. This means that we connect the right professionals to the right organisations. We find it important that the organisation finds a good candidate for his position and we find it just as important that this candidate actually takes the next step in his career. In this way, we create a win-win situation for both parties and collect various data to achieve this. We use this information to form a correct image of you or of the position, but also to gain better insight into different target groups.
Dutchwebshark is responsible for the way in which we collect, use and store your information. We obtain this information in various ways:

Below you will find an overview of the information we store and why we do this.
Surname and first name
Candidates and organisations are not numbers with us, we like a personal approach and therefore like to speak to you with your name.
We would like to know in which region you live in order to offer you relevant challenges. Do you live in Maastricht, for example? Then a vacancy in Groningen is probably not something for you.
We like to get to know our clients and candidates well. In the first instance, it is easiest to do so by telephone. Of course, we also want to inform you quickly if we have an update.
Answers to phone call
As mentioned above, we want to get to know you as well as possible during the telephone calls. That is why we ask you a number of questions. We would like our memory to be so good that we remember all your answers, but unfortunately. To prevent us from asking you the same question more than once, we store this information. In addition, this information is used to gain more insight into your target group.
We use your e-mail address to send you information, such as a vacancy text or an agreement. We also send newsletters every month, of course only if you have given your explicit permission.
In order to determine what suits you and what the possibilities are, we save your work experience. This consists of your current and previous employers, your positions and the period in which you worked there.
We also use your training to form as complete a picture as possible of you.
We like to communicate via LinkedIn. That is why it is useful to save your LinkedIn URL.
Have you provided us with your CV? We keep these in order to forward them to potential employers, of course only with your permission.
We go through a number of steps in our process. This ranges from the first contact to the organisation of a coffee interview with a potential new employer. We find it important to have a good understanding of this process, which is why we store the step you are in.
How long we store this
Dutchwebshark stores this information for a maximum of 1 year after the end of the target, unless you ask us earlier if we want to delete your data. Your information helps us to be as relevant as possible for you and for other professionals within your target group. That is why we anonymise the information after 1 year. In this way we are able to gain more insight into the target group, but this information can no longer be traced back to you.
Dutchwebshark attaches a lot of value to a good security of your information. We make every effort to ensure that your personal data is protected as effectively as possible against unlawful use. We do this by means of physical, administrative and technological measures. Sensitive (confidential) data is protected by using cryptographic techniques in the database, files and/or communication. Cryptographic techniques used are encryption and hashing and the digital signature derived from them. If and insofar as data is provided to third parties, Dutchwebshark has agreed with them that they will also optimally secure the personal data.
Share with third parties
The information that Dutchwebshark collects is only accessible to our own employees. We only share your data with our customers when we see a good match between your profile and the challenge of our customer. In that case, after your permission, we will share your CV and additional information about you with this organisation. If we are obliged to do so, we may also make your data available to regulatory or law enforcement agencies. In addition, we may sometimes outsource certain parts of our recruitment services to third parties, in which case we reserve the right to provide your information to professional advisors or other persons. These third parties must comply with the same confidentiality obligations as Dutchwebshark.
Access to your information
Are you curious what information about you is in our database? Then make a request for access by mailing your question to firstname.lastname@example.org. Dutchwebshark will respond to your request within four weeks. In order to prevent someone else from requesting your personal data, we would ask you to send us a copy of your ID or passport. Please let us know at email@example.com. Here, too, Dutchwebshark may need four weeks to respond.
